Alpha Leonov glares down at me.
"I'm not going to sit here and eat dinner with you because your wolf maybe giving you a headache. I have more important things do." I stab a fork into the steak on my plate.
Alpha Leonov let's out a grunt of a laugh. "Yes I'm sure dancing in a library, reading books, and just generally staring off into the distance is very important."
"To my sanity yes." I snap back.
He bristles angrily under my words, his knife aggressively sawing away at the meat. He didn't say anything more, he only looks down at the food to avoid me.
So I look at the grooves of the dinning table, the wood is old and worn. It makes me think of the table my parents had in our old home. It was small and round, seating only four.
