I moistened my pale lips, my body so weak it seemed ready to give way at any second. Yet, my voice remained steady and resolute. "Ms. West, I'm going to take my revenge!" In the corner of the cafe, my emotions ran high, and my voice trembled beyond my control. I laid bare all the years of Louise's cruelty and how Jayden had covered for her. I also recounted in detail how Louise had "fallen from favor" and how Jayden had brutally murdered her. Rowan sat frozen in shock, while I paused, still quivering uncontrollably. "Ms. West, this alone is enough to destroy Louise completely." I paused, my next words heavy enough to crush the air between us. "But there's something else—something powerful enough for your father to bring down the entire Parker Group." Rowan snapped out of her shock at once.
