Chapter 10

In a panic, he called Hollie's parents, but he quickly realized he couldn't get hold of either of them. Had Hollie's parents blocked his number? But he was Hollie's husband, their son-in-law. Why would they block his number? The more Will thought about it, the more nervous he became. He quickly grabbed his car keys and got in his car. He couldn't stay idle; he had to go to the hospital to find out what was going on. What on earth were they doing? On the way to the hospital, Will floored the gas pedal and ran several red lights, arriving in just ten minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes. He arrived just in time to see Hollie's parents enter the elevator to head down to the basement. Accompanying them was a gurney covered in a white sheet. Will wanted to rush into the elevator, but the elevator doors slid shut. Instead of waiting for the next elevator, he rushed down the stairs anxiously. When he arrived at the basement, he saw Jasmine and Patrick Olsen, Hollie's parents, hea
