Chapter 18 Plenty of Women Like Me
Ansel spoke the way he usually did, but there was some impatience in his voice.
Gardenia suddenly felt a little sorry for Juliet, so she blurted out without thinking, "She likes you."
Ansel pressed the cotton swab to her wound, causing her to yelp in pain. She wanted to draw back, but he caught her by her slender ankle.
"Plenty of women like me," he replied at last.
She fell silent.
It was true. When she thought about it, there were probably thousands of women who were thinking about climbing into Ansel's bed.
