Chapter 10 Regret
When Zachary heard that, he instantly got into a fight with Finnegan. He claimed that he would be the one to marry me and refused to give me to Finnegan.
Children had always had no reservations about speaking what was on their minds and would often spout nonsense. Who would've thought that we would end up in this tangled web of emotions when we grew up?
The head buried in my neck nuzzled closer before Finnegan's hoarse voice rang out. "Morning, girlfriend."
"Morning, boyfriend," I replied, matching his playful tone.
The next few days passed in a similar fashion. One night, I had only just settled down in bed when my phone rang. It was Zachary.
