Chapter 7 First Love
Finnegan tensed up, his hands gripping the steering wheel even harder. However, he remained silent.
Just as I thought he wouldn't answer me, he nodded. "Yeah, I did."
He had actually come into my tent that night. That meant I hadn't been dreaming.
So, it was Finnegan that had kissed me, said he liked me, and wanted to propose to me after we graduated?
The car was plunged into silence once more.
After learning about the truth, my emotions were an indescribably tangled and complicated mess. I also lost the mood to continue talking. What could I say? In the end, we had missed out on each other.
Before I knew what I was doing, I had allowed Finnegan to bring me to his house.
As he said, his house was quite big and close to my cafe, almost ridiculously so.
In fact, if I stood at the living room balcony, I could even see the front door of my cafe and anyone who walked in or out.
