Chapter 13
Though Roxanne had seemed so radiant during the farewell party, Callum hadn't been able to find the devotion toward him that used to shine from her eyes. She used to look at him with such love back then.
When had she started to change?
Callum clutched the divorce papers in his hand. He flipped through it repeatedly before finding the application date stamped on the top. It was a month ago, the date when Roxanne had brought him his lunch here at the compound.
He had also brought Zoey home on that day, so Roxanne had already planned to divorce him since then.
Callum's heart seemed to be caught in a vice grip. He then took a three-day leave from the military compound.

He couldn't find any of Roxanne's belongings at home. He rarely gave her any presents and only ever saw her as a plain housewife. He never even bothered to know what her bedroom looked like.
Callum walked into Roxanne's room. Now that she was gone, her room felt so unfamiliar to him.
