"No!" Jack tried to grab Wilhelmina, but it was too late. She had already yanked open the closet door and slipped inside. Then, before he could even react, she bolted into the closet. Immediately after, a sharp, startled scream rang out from inside. Jack knew she had found Luna. But there was no time to explain. Before Wilhelmina could storm out and cause a scene, he quickly hissed, "Stay quiet. I'll explain everything later." The closet rustled for a while before finally settling into silence. Jack's stomach twisted with dread. He could feel this situation slipping further out of control. With Wilhelmina safely hidden, he held his breath.
