Clara felt her body trembling uncontrollably.
Five years had passed. This was something she'd kept buried in her heart, something she'd deliberately avoided facing.
If possible, she'd wished Lucas would never find out. It didn't matter if he hated her forever.
"Did you really think that secretly returning the 50 million dollars could erase what happened?"
