Ever since the last party ended, Madeline had quickly adapted to her new company. Thanks to her solid skills, no one objected even though she had parachuted in directly as department head. She consecutively took on several projects, and all the clients expressed their satisfaction. Her colleagues began to see her in a new light as well. However, considering Madeline was pregnant, Yvonne insisted on giving her a week-long forced vacation. Madeline herself had wanted to strike while the iron was hot and take on the next project.
