Madeline ordered a glass of lemonade and a slice of chocolate cake. After the two of them briefly reviewed the first draft, she began quietly eating. Even after finishing the large slice of cake in front of her, she still felt a bit unsatisfied. Noticing this, Nathan gently pushed his own slice of cake toward her. "Go ahead, you can have it. I'm not really into desserts." He had expected her to decline, but she simply thanked him and began eating. This left him momentarily stunned. After quickly finishing the second slice, Madeline caught his gaze. "What's the matter? Why are you looking at me like that?" "I just thought most women were conscious about their figure. It's the first time I've seen one eat so freely and happily." Seeing that Madeline didn't respond, Nathan quickly added, "I didn't mean that in a bad way. If anything, I think the way you eat is kind of adorable. And I really have no opinions about women's figures. Your body is yours to do with as you please." Amuse
