Chapter 26

"Hey, Brad. Mr. Shaw has already found out you went on a trip abroad. You need to come back right away," Brad's friend said urgently over the phone. But Bradley didn't respond. "Brad, did you hear me? He knows about Louise too. He's furious and wants you to come back and explain yourself." At the mention of Louise, Bradley remembered that she was the root of it all. His hand tightened into fist. "Alright, I'll go back immediately." When the plane landed in Avenlor, Bradley didn't go straight to see Howard. Instead, he had someone bring Louise to him first. "Brad, Mr. Shaw is really pressing hard. Shouldn't you go back first?" his friend cautiously suggested from the side. "Are you making decisions for me now?" Bradley asked, his voice icy. "N-No!" Everyone knew what he was like, so no one dared to say another word. When Louise entered the room and saw Bradley sitting there drinking, she immediately shrank back in terror. "W-What are you doing here? Are you going to kill me?"
