Silas carefully laid Bethany down on the bed. "Sorry, I shouldn't have driven so fast. It won't happen again. I'll have Jane make you some chicken noodle soup." He turned to leave and soon came back holding a box of medicine. "I just consulted the doctor. Taking this will help ease your discomfort."
