Ella spotted Bethany coming over, and she immediately held her hand.
"Beth, I intended to bring you some business, but your staff can't just go around, treating people like this."
Bethany hadn't the foggiest idea what Ella was talking about, and Antonio was nowhere to be seen.
She looked at John Halloway, the hotel manager, and asked in a deep voice, "What happened?"
"The guest in room 901 said his violin was lost. Eventually, it was found in the janitor's supply room, but several strings had been snapped."
That was the trickiest part of the alleged incident. What was worse, someone left the violin in a staff area.
