"William, let it go." Kenny and the others stood in the hospital room, exchanging heavy glances as they watched William clench his jaw in frustration. Their expressions were clouded, not just with concern, but with disappointment. After returning from Fremoria and learning everything William had done to Emily, they found themselves struggling to believe that their longtime friend had once been that kind of man. "She has a new boyfriend now. It's over, man. Let her go," one of them said flatly. Another voice cut through the tension with fury. "Damn it, William! You're a complete asshole! To think that I actually felt bad for you and stood up for you! Emmy's such a good woman. You deserve everything you get for breaking her heart!" The situation spiraled fast.
