Chapter 1115 Demi Does Not Like to Be Threatened
As the sun set, Daniel stood outside the gates of Moran Academy, looking worn out and defeated. He smoked one cigarette after another, anxiously waiting for school to end. He was hoping to catch Demi and beg her to begin Michelle's treatment right away.
When the final bell rang, students began streaming out of the building. Demi appeared among them.
Daniel rushed forward and blocked Demi's path. "Demi," he said with a forced smile.
"Did you find out the truth?" Demi asked calmly.
"I didn't manage to see Ana, but I heard from the others that she might've gotten those injuries from a fight." Daniel tried to sound sincere, like he wasn't just making things up.
"Good that you checked. Otherwise, you'd think that I was going back on my word." Demi scoffed before continuing on her way.
Daniel hurriedly caught up with Demi and asked, "I came to ask you if it's possible to start Mom's treatment first. As for Ana, I promise she'll fulfill your request."
Demi gave a mocking laugh and ret
