Chapter 751
Meanwhile, in Salt City.
Sophia made a deep scratch on the wall with her nails. She was used to the darkness by now, and even with just the tiny beam of light from the window, she could see every line on the wall.
Amid the boundless darkness, this was her sole method of keeping track of how much time had passed since she was imprisoned.
Ehren had not shown up yet that day.
If there was light, one could see that Sophia's face was devoid of emotion. She looked just like an emotionless doll; nothing could put a smile on her face.
'Why hasn't Ehren come yet? Could it be that something happened to him?' Sophia thought inwardly as she nervously kicked the iron chain on her foot. Suddenly, she heard footsteps outside and backed away warily.
"You're not Ehren. Who are you?"
The incoming person remained silent. He squatted down and closed the flap, preventing light from entering the room. After being plunged into complete darkness, Sophia finally heard the person outside let out a sigh.
