Jeremy paused, remembering the tears Melody had just shed in front of him. The calm he had worked so hard to maintain wavered once again.
Seth was still talking. "You didn't see her, she looked so pitiful—cried her little heart out and bumped straight into my chest. Man, if she weren't your fiancée, I swear I would've played the gentleman and tried to comfort her."
