Melody pushed Jeremy away from her. Although it wasn't that obvious, she still caught an alcoholic stench on him. Rainwater must've washed most of it away earlier.

It'd be impossible to reason with a drunken man, so she comforted him and said, "I'll be back after I get a towel for you. You're soaked to the bone, and it's a little dirty."
