Chapter 374
Just before lunch, Ophelia finally turned to Jeremy. "You must be really free today."
Jeremy hesitated and replied, "I'm not too busy."
Ophelia then gave a dry laugh and glanced at Melody.
It wasn't hard for her to figure out what was going on inside Jeremy's head. Usually, he never stayed long when he came by. He'd get to the point, say what he needed to say, and leave. But today, he was just sitting there quietly, watching them chat like he had all the time in the world.
Then again, considering everything he'd been doing lately, Ophelia figured maybe this was just what he deserved.
She said, "If you're really busy, you can leave anytime."
Jeremy looked at her, his brow twitching almost imperceptibly. "I'm not busy."
"Really? That's odd. I heard Krystal's been glued to you lately." Ophelia stared at him. "You didn't even have time for dinner before. I actually thought you were moving in with the Wardolfs." It was obvious she was angry.
