"Lucy, can you get me a glass of warm water?" Louise had just finished signing some documents and went to grab her drink, only to find her cup empty. Her new assistant Lucy worked right in the same office-a small desk set up nearby for her to be on call anytime. "Sure." Lucy had short hair, looked kind of like a doll, fresh out of college, young but super capable. She'd only been there three days, and Louise had already decided to officially keep her on board. "Here you go, Ms. Bennett." Now that her belly was starting to show, Louise paid extra attention to her health. No more coffee or milk-just plain water. She didn't even flinch when that bland-tasting water went down her throat, taking several gulps before setting the cup down and picking up another report. "Knock knock!" A sudden knock snapped both women's heads toward the door. Lucy had just pushed back her chair when the door flew open with a loud click, and in walked a young woman, chin raised, eyes blazing.
