Dominic looked at her carefully folding her clothes, face full of guilt, and sighed helplessly. He stood up and pulled her into his arms. "You don't have to apologize to me. I get it now-you had your reasons, and maybe I was just too quick to assume things."
At first, he just thought Louise was insecure. But after today-seeing Ian and that drugged glass of water-he realized how little he really knew about her. What she'd been through, and what kind of pressure she was under now... as her husband, he had no clue.
