Chapter THIRTY ONE

Jessica had the food to fill her, and then she left to the house. She entered the house and went straight upstairs since she already had a hearty dinner. As she pushed the door open she met Xavier sitting on the bed in casual wear. Her eyes went to the wristwatch on her wrist. It was barely past seven pm but Xavier was around.   "You are home early?" she asked, entering the room and closing the door behind her.   She dropped her bag on the table and went over to the vanity table, removing her earrings and putting them into her jewelry box.   "Yes, I thought we could have dinner together like you suggested," Xavier said looking everywhere in the room apart from her.   Jessica stared at Xavier through the mirror in her front. She could sense his discomfort when he said that. He took all the courage to ask her to dinner. If she said no or turned him down he might take it the wrong way.   She would just have to suck it up and have two dinners. She could not possibly die from overeating. Or
