Chapter SIXTY FIVE

The ride back was comfortable and a flow from the earlier vibe felt by both parties. The radio was playing a slow song and both parties just sat while Xavier drove.   The silence was comfortable enough that Jessica found herself sleeping already. Xavier noticed her sleeping when her head jerked as she slept. Xavier helped her move her head to a comfortable position so her neck doesn't ache.   After driving for long he pulled up to the gate of the mansion. Everywhere was dark and gloom and he still needed to go out to meet Jason. He would throw a grown-man tantrum if he did not come.   Xavier parked his car in front of the main entrance. He did not want to wake Jessica up as it looked like she was sleeping soundly. He quietly switched off the car and opened the door. He went to the passenger side of the car. He opened up the door and gently removed the seatbelt from her body.   In his arms, he carried her bridal style and instructed the staff standing close by to bring in her bag.   Jes
