Chapter 59
Deborah glanced at Holden and smiled the moment her back was facing him. She was sure Holden was talking nonsense because the plains over there were not Solime Village.
"Where are you going?" Holden asked.
"Pick vegetables from the field."
Holden was quiet.
"Do you usually do farm work at home?"
"Erm, yes!"
"That's great!" Deborah put down the basket and squatted on the ground to pick some vegetables. She said to Holden, "My mother asked me to bring some peanuts home. If you're not busy, would you help me?"
Holden stood on the field with a horrified look on his face. He stared at the vegetables in front of him, which were of different sorts of green. He knew nothing about vegetables.
"Hello, peanuts! Where are you?" He murmured.
He secretly took his mobile phone and wanted to find what the seedlings looked like on Google, but Deborah said, "Oh, it's at your foot. Dig some out."
