They've caught the person who set fire to the building. Kane's words hung thickly in the air, like the sterile scent of antiseptic.
Cillian's eyes widened the moment he heard this. "They've caught the culprit?" He asked for clarification.
Kane nodded. "Yes, however," he paused and it was only then that Cillian realized that Kane didn't look happy, or at least, like they'd achieved something.

After a second of hesitation, Kane continued. "The culprit said it was a drunk accident. He'd been on duty that day and he had a bad day so he decided to drink and smoke. One thing led to another, he felt the world was unfair and at that point, he was wrongly treated by an higher up and decided to–"
