Chapter 1 Ending the Relationship

The first thing Wesley did after returning to the country was to come find Elaine. This was the first time in five years that Wesley had taken the initiative to visit Elaine, appearing at her doorstep with a chill in the air. Elaine had been notified early and had cleaned herself up, changing into carefully prepared sleepwear, waiting for his arrival. As a perfect lover, she couldn't afford to have any flaws. When Elaine opened the door, Wesley was busy replying to his assistant's message. Seeing her, his expression remained as cold as ever, as if the woman before him was not his mistress. "Come here." Wesley hung up the phone, his voice icy, like snow in deep winter, falling on Elaine's heart, making her shiver involuntarily. She walked up to him, looking up at him with a docile and gentle expression. Elaine was wearing a light purple camisole, with circles of lace on her chest, as chaotic as her thoughts. During Wesley's absence, she had always maintained her figure rigorously, even without a bra, her chest still looked plump and upright. Whether it was due to missing the man in front of her or the teasing friction of the fabric, her pure, patternless sleepwear gradually revealed two small points. Underneath Elaine's body, like a river melting under a glacier, flowed vigorously and passionately... Wesley looked at the seductive figure before him, his face still emotionless, showing no signs of any feelings. He tilted Elaine's head back and claimed her red lips, while his other hand was on her chest, from gently stroking at the beginning to pressing and kneading vigorously later. The girl in his arms was already on the brink of ecstasy, matching Wesley's movements with gasps in his ear. Wesley lifted Elaine horizontally, whispering in her ear, "It's your turn this time." Then he headed towards the bedroom. In the five years of being Wesley's mistress, Elaine knew very well how passionate this noble man could be in such matters. And all she could do was to endure obediently, enduring every invasion and possession by the man. When Elaine woke up, it was already bright outside. Wesley was already dressed neatly. Seeing her awake, his impeccably handsome face showed no extra emotions, his voice indifferent, "You don't need to come find me anymore in the future." Elaine was stunned. She hadn't even fully awakened from the joy of Wesley coming to her and staying overnight, and now she was caught off guard by this statement. "What do you mean?" Elaine's voice was somewhat hoarse. "The contract is terminated early." Wesley threw a contract in front of Elaine. "One billion, three buildings, all for your compensation. Of course, if you have any other requirements, you can also mention them." Seeing the contract thrown by Wesley, Elaine finally realized what the man meant. He wanted to end their relationship. So, staying overnight here this time wasn't because he had feelings for her, but because he wanted to end the relationship... Intense pain gripped Elaine's heart tightly, making it difficult for her to breathe. Enduring the pain, Elaine forced a smile, trying to laugh, but couldn't, "Isn't it... too soon? The contract hasn't expired yet, has it?" She still wanted to spend more time with him. In her last three months of life. "Tired of it." The man showed no reluctance at all, looking at Elaine as coldly as if the woman before him hadn't been his mistress for five years, but rather a plaything at his beck and call. In the man's words, Elaine's heart ached so much that she almost couldn't breathe. "Well, okay." Elaine tried to calm herself down, not revealing any flaws. She picked up the paper contract, her smile as radiant as usual, "It's fine, I'm tired of it too." Five years had passed, and she finally woke up to the fact that Wesley's heart couldn't be warmed. Protecting her last bit of dignity, Elaine wanted to try her best. After Wesley left, it didn't take long for his assistant, Sean, to come in and take the contract. Seeing Elaine's tear-streaked face, Sean looked a little surprised. After all, in the five years he had known her, he had never seen Elaine show any other emotion. Always a flawless smile. "Miss Elaine." Sean cautiously spoke up, "The president instructed me to take the contract. Are... you alright?" "I'm fine, give me the pen." Elaine, in a sorry state, wiped away her tears haphazardly, took the pen Sean handed her, and signed her name on the contract. The tip of the pen drew a perfect arc on the contract, and Elaine looked at her name on the contract, feeling intense pain in her heart again, almost fainting from the pain. Sean took the contract, looking at Elaine's disheartened appearance, hesitated for a few seconds, but still comforted her, "Miss Elaine, the president still cares about you. Otherwise, he wouldn't offer a billion just like that." Elaine smiled, her expression becoming more and more mournful. She never wanted money. "I don't need this money." Elaine said, "Take the card on the table, and give it back to Wesley." "You... think it's too little?" Sean looked puzzled, not daring to take the document. He didn't know if Elaine really didn't want it, or if she was playing hard to get. "I don't need anything, and I won't pester Wesley." Elaine smiled bitterly, "I know what I should and shouldn't do." Sean didn't say anything more at Elaine's words, just nodded at her and took the black card from the table, then turned and left. In the huge house, there was only Elaine left. In the air, it seemed that Wesley's presence still lingered.
