Tammy didn't know what nonsense Abigail was spouting now.
When she realized something, she tensed and slowly turned around. As expected, Theodore stood not far behind her, his face cold and expressionless.
The moonlight cast a pale glow over him, but his dark eyes were as deep as the night itself.
His demeanor was icy and distant. Tammy felt like her entire body had been plunged into ice under his piercing gaze.
"Theodore, save me! Please help me!" Abigail cried even more miserably after seeing him. "Tammy sent a large number of people to attack me just now! I'm in so much pain! She wants to kill me!"
"I…"
Tammy was so enraged by Abigail's blatant lies that she laughed in disbelief. She couldn't let Abigail get away with this. After snapping out of her daze, she quickly defended herself. "No! I didn't! Theo, I came here tonight because—"
"Tammy!" But before she could finish, Theodore cut her off abruptly. "You didn't? Then tell me, where did all of Abigail's injuries come from?
