Beth's POV
Deep in the dark forest, near the border, the clear river was flowing quietly.
It was in a remote area, yet it was the best place for me not to be disturbed by others.
I sat on the ground with my legs curled up and looked up at the moon until its light dimmed.
I couldn't close my eyes because the scenes of that slaughter feast would come back to me, bringing back the image of my father in such a situation.
