Chapter 815 Your Heart Is Already Mine, Sweetheart
Zachary squinted his eyes. He gently raised his dark brows.
“Just because you outwardly deny it doesn’t mean that you don’t want to, deep down.”
Sotiria wanted to cry, but no tears would come. She was about to explain when Zachary’s large hand firmly placed itself on her chest.
“Don’t you feel it, sweetheart? Your heart is in my hands now.”
If anyone else had touched her like that, Sotiria would have slapped him long ago. However, at that moment, Sotiria did not slap Zachary.
It wasn’t because Zachary was holding her firmly in his arms, and she couldn’t move her arms. It was because the intent to slap him hadn’t occurred to her at all.
Sotiria had no idea what was wrong with her. Garrison was a perfect, flawless giant among men. She was still perfectly capable of remaining sober when facing Garrison. But once she faced Zachary, her strong defenses would instantly crumble. She had lost all strength for resistance, even if Zachary drew her even closer to him.
“Mummy!”
A childish yet melodious voice, like a tinkling silver bell, suddenly rang aloud.
“Naomi!” Sotiria instantly returned to her senses. At that moment, she realized that the distance between her and Zachary and their position was too risque. She panicked and tried to push Zachary away.
However, Zachary was as strong as an ice mountain. She may have used all of her strength to push him away, but he did not move an inch…
His right arm was still wrapped around her waist. His left hand was still placed on her breast… And his eyes were staring fixedly at the little girl who had suddenly burst into his home.
‘Naomi Green!’
Even though Zachary had already met her once, seeing her small face, which was a miniaturized version of Charlotte’s face, again, made him feel as if he was meeting her for the first time and that his soul was deeply moved.
“Why are you hurting my mummy again, Mr. Meanie?” Naomi fiercely placed her hands around her tiny waist when she noticed Sotiria trying her best to push Zachary away, yet Zachary held her tightly, refusing to let go, and Sotiria’s face flushed and inflamed from panic.
“Hmph! Are you stupid? Let go of my mummy!”
Zachary, who never listened to anyone’s orders, immediately released Sotiria as if he had received an order from God.
Naomi pursed her small lips. She lifted her tender, smooth little face and glared pitifully at Zachary. “Lower your head and bring your face to me.”
It was as if Zachary had been bewitched. He bent down without hesitation and moved his chiseled face toward the little girl.
The little girl lifted her hand and slapped Zachary right across the face.
Zachary was as stunned as an ice sculpture.
Sotiria was stunned too.
“Bad news, sir! I saw something unbelievable. A kid who looked very much like a toddler was actually— Oh my God!”
Lucas dashed into the door and happened to see Naomi giving Zachary a slap. He was immediately stunned as if he had been nailed to the ground.
What shocked him wasn’t just the fact that a kid had slapped Zachary.
The most shocking part of all was that this kid’s face was an exact copy of Charlotte’s. Except that her bright, crystalline eyes were not like Charlotte’s at all. They looked very similar to Zachary’s.
This must be the kid that Zachary had mentioned to him, the one who looked a lot like Charlotte!
Could she be Charlotte and Zachary’s daughter!?
