"Tess, what are you doing?" Shane demanded, staring in disbelief as Tess scrambled away from Aaron's bed in a panic. Before he left, the doctor informed him that Aaron's blood tested positive for sedatives, and his brainwave readings were severely abnormal. The maid, trembling, had also said that Tess had given Aaron sleeping pills. Shane hadn't wanted to believe it, so he came back to the hospital for answers. And this was what he walked into.
