The banquet was over.
Mrs. Richards rode home in silence.

Between hiccupped breaths, she cried out, "I went tonight hoping to help Elaria, but I totally got played by someone else. In the end, she was the one helping me. I just realized how hard her work actually is... I really regret not being kinder to her before."
Anthony's wife gently comforted her, murmuring soft reassurances.
