With just a month left before the final bidding, Halden was holding nonstop team meetings, and Sebastian barely had a moment to sit down.

At 4 p.m., Sebastian finished yet another meeting and headed back to the CEO's office.
Elaria leaned back in her chair, a fancy invitation in hand, an unreadable look on her face.
Sebastian sat on the edge of her desk, cocking his head. "What is it, someone else complaining about me again?"
Elaria nodded. "Yep. In the past two weeks, at least ten people grumbled to me. Said you're working them to the bone, and skipping the chain of command."
Sebastian chuckled. "I mean, I'm just abusing the fact that the boss likes me."
