Chapter 466
It was past midnight when William Turner walked out of Olivia Hale’s apartment.
At the door, she clung to him. “William, can you stay?”
That was her final try.
She didn’t want things to end like this.
William couldn’t read her mind—he probably just thought she didn’t want to be alone. He tried, gently: “I’ll come back in a couple days.”
All Olivia could see was disappointment flickering in her eyes.
He playfully pinched her cheek before turning to go. But behind him came her soft, broken voice, "William."
He looked back, his tone warm. “Yeah?”
Wrapped in her bathrobe, Olivia stepped closer, tracing her fingers lightly over his chiseled face, asking quietly, “William, do you still love me?”
