#Chapter 155: Giving In

Ella POV Alexander moved the moment the words left my mouth. His lips were on mine and his hand gripped my hips firmly. It was far from our first kiss, but it made my heart race and my skin tingle plesantly anyway. I wrapped my arms around his neck, returning the kiss eagerly. I hadn’t been lying when I told Alexander that I didn’t remember our first encounter entirely. The memory was hazy, tainted by the drug that had been in my system and the attack that David had put me through. Now, there was nothing like that. We were a bit drunk, but I was fully aware of what I was doing and, more importantly, I was in control. I trusted Alexander, and I knew that if I changed my mind he would stop instantly. Having that kind of faith and trust in him allowed me to overcome my inhibitions. Even in the back of a car, I felt the intimacy between us. The way his hands skimmed over my skin as he slid them up my dress made me shiver pleasantly. A small m
