Chapter 60 Crossing the Line
After Benjamin finished, Sam's expression turned stone cold. He shot Benjamin a hard look. "Are you trying to tell me how to do my job?"
Benjamin realized he had crossed the line. He lowered his head, sincere. "Sorry, Mr. Goodwin. I was only looking out for you."
Sam narrowed his eyes at Benjamin. After a beat, he said quietly, "Don't ever do that again."
"Understood."
Benjamin let out a long breath. He was about to continue his report when Sam interrupted him.
"Send me a copy of the photo."
"Right away."
Benjamin sent the photo. After Sam received it, he forwarded it to Madison.
When she saw the photo, she was stunned. When had she ever signed a letter of forgiveness for Johnny?
Madison typed quickly on her phone. "This is forged. It's fake! Sam, you have to believe me. I never signed anything forgiving Johnny!"
