Chapter 3 An Insignificant Person
When Scarlet heard this sentence, she turned around and looked over slowly, "Yes, I have received the certificate."
Sarah Stafford stood beside Scarlet, looking at her, "When are you going to go through the formalities?"
Scarlet looked away, watched the TV show, and asked, "Is Ms. Stafford in a hurry?"
Sarah Stafford had a proper smile on her face, "I'm not in a hurry, but William is in a hurry, so I want to ask Ms. Tyler when she's free, so I signed it."
Hearing this, Scarlet took the remote control on one side, pressed the TV to pause, and then turned to look at Sarah Stafford again, with a polite and distant tone, "Ms. once?"
Sarah Stafford met Scarlet's gaze, curled her lips and smiled, "Ms. Tyler, I know you like William and don't want to leave William, but William doesn't like you, you've been with him for five years, and you can't let him go He's attracted to you, so, Ms. Tyler, it's time for you to let go."
Scarlet got up and stood up, bypassing the sofa, and walked in front of Sarah Stafford, "Ms. Stafford is thinking too much, I like William Vance, but I only liked William Vance once, not still like it now, if you want it, then I I'll give it back to you."
After speaking, Scarlet walked upstairs past Sarah Stafford.
The expression on Scarlet's face changed only when her back was turned to Sarah Stafford.
She could be embarrassed in front of William Vance, and she could be as humble as dust, but in front of Sarah Stafford, she didn't want to lose her last dignity.
Scarlet went upstairs and just bumped into William Vance after getting dressed.
The pace of both of them is a meal.
Scarlet spoke first, "I just drank water and spilled water on my body, change my clothes again."
William Vance glanced at her and said nothing, "I'll wait for you below."
Scarlet hummed and stepped into the side room.
Downstairs, when Sarah Stafford saw William Vance coming down, she got up and greeted her, "William."
William Vance responded, "We'll go to the Vance family after she finishes changing."
Sarah Stafford nodded, and then asked softly, "William, does Ms. Tyler not like me too much?"
William Vance looked at Sarah Stafford.
"I wanted to say hello to her just now, but as soon as I spoke, she suddenly got up and left." Sarah Stafford's tone was mixed with a bit of grievance.
William Vance frowned slightly, his voice was indifferent, without discerning emotions, "Don't pay attention to her, she's always been like that."
Sarah Stafford took William Vance's arm, "William, do you know her well?"
understood?
He really didn't know Scarlet at all.
What she likes and what she doesn't like.
Or something else that he never paid attention to.
And it was as if Scarlet knew him better than he knew Scarlet.
What he likes, what he doesn't like, every habit and habit of him, she is very clear.
"William?" Sarah Stafford called out to William Vance softly when he saw that William Vance was distracted.
William Vance withdrew his thoughts and looked at Sarah Stafford, "There's no need to understand."
That's what Scarlet heard when she changed her clothes and came down the stairs.
No need to know what?
Probably because she cared too much before, so she would habitually interpret any word William Vance said.
Just when she was habitually thinking about what William Vance meant.
Sarah Stafford's voice had already sounded, "Well, I thought you had been with Ms. Tyler for five years and knew her somewhat."
William Vance stood with his back to Scarlet, so he didn't notice Scarlet coming down the stairs.
"An irrelevant person, there is no need to waste time to understand."
It's just people who don't matter.
It turns out that she has always been an insignificant person in his heart...
He had obviously become invulnerable, but Scarlet still felt a little suffocated when he heard such words.
Compared to before, when she took enough time to digest her emotions, now Scarlet has learned to adjust her emotions in the fastest time no matter what kind of chilling words she hears.
She went downstairs, stood at the top of the stairs, looked at the two people standing in the living room, "I'm fine, let's go?"
When William Vance heard the voice behind him, he frowned almost subconsciously.
Turning around to look at Scarlet who was standing on the stairs at some point.
She changed into a beige dress, and she was wearing high heels of a similar color, which made her already graceful figure even more irresistible.
Such Scarlet also has a certain irresistible temptation for William Vance.
So when he saw Scarlet, William Vance's eyes were not as cold as before.
When Sarah Stafford noticed the change in William Vance's eyes, she tightened her grip on William Vance's hand, "William, do I really want to go too? I'm afraid grandma will be unhappy seeing me."
Sarah Stafford's words brought William Vance's attention back. He looked sideways at her and said softly, "No, I like it. Grandma will definitely like it."
After saying that, William Vance put his arms around Sarah Stafford and walked outside.
When passing Scarlet, William Vance glanced at her, but walked past her without saying anything.
Scarlet was one step behind the two of them, following behind.
Before they went out together, as long as William Vance was driving, she would sit in the co-pilot.
But now with Sarah Stafford, Scarlet didn't look for boredom, and reached out to open the back seat door consciously.
"Scarlet."
Just as Scarlet was about to bend over and sit in the back seat, William Vance suddenly called out to her.
Scarlet heard the sound and looked, "What's wrong?"
"Sit in front."
After hearing William Vance's words, Scarlet subconsciously looked at Sarah Stafford who was standing beside William Vance.
"Sarah is not used to sitting in the front."
It turns out that she is not used to it...
Scarlet didn't speak, walked up to the co-pilot, opened the door and bent over to sit in.
William Vance helped Sarah Stafford sit in the back seat, and then went around and sat in the driver's cab.
The car started, and Scarlet raised her hand to fasten her seat belt.
"There are a lot of people going tonight, so be careful." William Vance said aloud as the car drove.
Scarlet responded softly, "Understood."
"You didn't prepare anything today?" William Vance turned to look at her and asked.
Scarlet met his gaze, "Do you still want me to prepare? I thought it was unnecessary."
After hearing Scarlet's answer, William Vance frowned, and what he said still made people feel chilling, "It's true, I won't need you in the future."
This kind of rhetoric is like something that has been used for a long time, but suddenly no longer wants to use it, and throws it away.
Scarlet might have pretended she hadn't heard it before, but today she suddenly became rebellious, and her tone was mixed with sarcasm, "Yeah, it's useless, but what shocked me was that Mr. Vance would bring his wife and Lovers go to family dinners."
