"I think I might have found a loophole for the curse," Alec mumbles softly. "We could break the mate bond. I can reject you and the curse should go because I won't have a soulmate."  Reject you. Why?  "What do you think? Do you want to get rid of the mate bond?" He asks as I look at him.  I smile at him as I see the hope in his eyes. "Yes." I lie to him and he stays quiet, nodding to himself.  The silence fills the air as I feel a chill run up my body. He wants to break the bond with me.
