Tina's POV:
My heart pounded and with trembling hands, I instinctively yanked out the ventilator plug.
Grace, deep and slumber, suddenly struggled to breathe and woke up in distress, her face contorted in pain.
Startled by Grace's awakening, I panicked and accidentally knocked over a water glass on the table.
She gasped for breaths, her struggle evident.
"Grace..." I was terrified momentarily frozen, unsure of what to do next.
This was my first attempt to deliberate murder, and my nerves were on the edge.
She weekly raised her hand, groping aimlessly in the air, only for it to fall back down heavily a minute later.
"Grace... Grace..." My fear escalated, causing a tingling sensation on my scalp as I called out in a panicked, frenzy.
As a critically ill patient, Grace's life slipped away within three minutes, her breathing ceasing.
