Jessica Lane groggily reached for her phone in the middle of a dream, and the moment she heard Alice Sterling’s question, her mind snapped awake. She could vaguely guess what was going on. “Okay, just send me the docking time for the cruise. I’ll pick you up at the pier first thing tomorrow, alright?”
Hearing the soft sounds of sobbing coming through the speaker, Jessica couldn't help but ask, “Em, what happened between you and Edward?”
