Even though it was six am and last night had been nothing short of a rollercoaster of emotions and craziness, when Marley was awoken by Aiden slipping back into bed and wrapping his arms around her, she was elated. She made it out of what seemed like an impossible situation, and the person she loves made it out, too. And, when she fluttered her eyes open, she could tell that aforementioned person felt the same way. Aiden was laying beside her with damp hair, his shower smell hitting her full force. It was obvious that he'd left for his workout, which to Marley was absurd after the night they had. Nonetheless, she knows him too well to be surprised. He works out to clear his head, feel in control, and calm his nerves. It's his outlet. His eyes were trailing over her face. "What time is it?" She mumbled while he kissed her forehead. "Six." When a dazzling smile revealed perfect pearly whites, Marley let out a groan, shoving the covers over her face.
