STELLA’s POV I blinked my eyes repeatedly trying to open my eyes but winced when I was greeted by a blinding light. I blinked again, flickering my eyelids, but everything was still too blurry. I could barely make out anything. After a few seconds, my vision slowly got better. I was now staring at a white ceiling, wondering where I was. I looked around and found out that I was in a room in the hospital. What was I doing here? The last thing I remember was… Something moved beside me on the bed and when I tried to see who it was, a sudden pain struck in my head making me wince in an unexplainable pain. I touched my head and there was a bandage around it. “Are you okay?” it was Aunt Lucy’s voice. Slowly, I turned my head and found her looking at me with concern. Confusion engulfed me as I looked back at her. When was the last time she felt concerned about me? I could barely remember. And what was I doing here in the hospital? What happened? “Aunt Lucy?” I whispered, my voice sounding weak
