Agatha sized Cassidy up and laughed coldly. Her tone was sharp as she said, "So you're Cassidy Sherman. You do have a pretty face. No wonder Isaac fell for you."
Cassidy met her gaze without flinching. "You're Isaac's mother?"
"I am," Agatha replied. "Ms. Sherman, shall we talk somewhere else?"
The corner of Cassidy's lips curled slightly. "I'm sorry. I'm heading to the airport soon. If you have something to say, say it here."
Agatha didn't expect a young woman to brush her off so bluntly. Her expression darkened. "I'll be brief then. You and Isaac will never have a future. His father and I have already chosen his wife. Only Quinn is worthy of marrying into the Slater family. So I suggest you stop dreaming about marrying into money."
