The main hall downstairs was lively. Cassidy was now Stefan's wife. By custom, she should have gone downstairs to receive guests. However, their marriage was a secret. It was only a contract and existed in name only, so she didn't dare see herself as Mrs. Archer. In her mind, she was only a guest in the Archer residence. Stefan and Zoe stayed on the first floor, chatting and having tea with visitors. Cassidy stayed alone in her bedroom on the second floor. Cassidy called Erica to wish her a happy New Year.
