Isaac had run into Cassidy and her "husband" earlier that day. That man couldn't even hold a candle to him. Yet, she still refused to divorce him.
Being rejected by her had already put Isaac in a foul mood. Now that he was home, Quinn was getting on his nerves, too.
Isaac snapped, "I'm a grown man. Why are you still policing whether I come home for dinner or not? Can't you eat without me?"
Quinn swallowed her pride. "That's not what I meant. I hardly see you anymore. I miss you."
"Why would you miss me?"
"You're my fiance. Of course, I miss you."
"Well, don't," he said coldly. "Because I don't miss you."
Quinn clenched her fists. "You're still hung up on Cassidy, aren't you?"
"So what if I am?" Isaac looked at her coldly. "I told you a long time ago that the only woman I like is Cass. I already told you I want to call off our engagement."
