Cassidy opened her mouth and ate the cake Stefan fed her. "Is it good?" he asked. "Mm, it's delicious," she replied. Stefan scooped another piece to feed her, and she accepted it naturally. Their relationship had grown to be much more intimate. Cassidy had gotten used to him acting like this. When she finished the slice of cake, Stefan brushed the corners of her mouth with his thumb, wiping away some cream frosting. His voice was low and husky. "Is it sweet?" A shiver ran through her like electricity, and Cassidy nodded. "Yes." The second the word left her lips, Stefan leaned down and kissed her. Cassidy's breath hitched, her arms instinctively winding around his neck. He pressed her gently against the edge of the desk, their kiss deepening without pause.
