Chapter 15
Ciara
I couldn’t hide my smile as I saw the outskirt of the huge red mansion infront of me; home, it’d been so long.
Jonathan cleared his throat, reminding me that he was beside me. “As you can see, I didn’t kidnap you”
“Thank you for your help. Get home safe”
“Sure” When Jonathan was completely out of sight, I pushed through the gates.
On the house lawn there were different species of flowers; roses, daisy, dahlias, you name them.
Drawing in a deep breath, the scent of the flowers took over my nose that I couldn’t help but pluck out a rose. “It sure is good to be home”
As I walked through the golden tiles that led to the house main door, memories of when my parents were alive flooded my head like a rushing river.
Being back here took away my memories with Ryan but brought back painful memories of my dead parents.
I guess I’d have to find how to live through it since I had nowhere to run to now and I’d come here to stay permanently.
