Chapter 56 Pull Out the Divorce Papers
Giselle's face went pale. She opened her mouth to speak, but the line went dead before a word came out.
The flat tone in her ear made her rage spike. She jabbed at the redial button again and again, but no one picked up.
In her head, the sound of bodies colliding wouldn't stop replaying. She didn't need eyes to know exactly how far they'd gone.
She snapped, and with one sweep of her arm, she sent everything on the table crashing to the floor.
Giselle's face twisted as she cursed Jeanette's name, wishing she would just drop dead right then.
Across town, William powered off his phone and turned back to Jeanette.
He lifted her onto the marble vanity and angled her so her beautiful body faced the mirror while her back pressed against him. His breathing roughened as he watched the reflection.
He drove into her again and again until the drug finally burned itself out and her strength gave way. Only when she went limp in his arms did he stop.
