Sophia pulled out her phone and shot off a quick message. Then she clenched her teeth and followed Eira into the restroom.
Inside, Eira stood alone in front of the mirror, putting on lipstick at a calm, unhurried pace.
The silence was cut short by Sophia's voice, laced with mockery. "Miss Johnson, must be a great night for you, huh?"
Eira glanced at her through the mirror, her tone icy. "It's just us here. Drop the act."
Sophia blinked innocently. "Miss Johnson, what makes you think I have bad intentions?"
Eira calmly finished applying her lipstick, then slowly turned around, closing the distance between them step by step. Her stare was sharp. "Sure, I'm divorced. But don't think I've forgotten the crap you pulled on me back then."
"What are you even talking about?" Sophia feigned confusion, then grinned like a cat that just caught a mouse. "Whatever I did, no one's ever gonna know. Just like today."
