James sighed, his eyes growing distant as painful memories flashed through his mind.
"No woman wants to live like that, chief. I was never home. She said she couldn't take the loneliness anymore. She wanted to be free... and I let her go." His voice softened, almost as if he was confessing to himself.
“We’ve been divorced for years now. She has full custody of the kids. I thought about fighting for them, but what could I give them?
